COMMUNITY CLEANUP

Scarborough is a beautiful place, but we've noticed the litter and weeds are making pockets of the town appear scruffy and neglected. Here on the corner of South Street and St. Martin's Avenue, where NYAS is located, we've been waiting for someone to come and sort it, but no one ever does. 

In recent times, simple yet essential services like street cleaning, litter picking and weeding have been reduced by the local council, leading to noticeable changes in the upkeep of our town.

So, we'll be taking action on Saturday 3 August between 9am-5pm.

We'll be out and about in the vicinity of our school with the aim of making the surrounding streets look tidy.
